Dubai has announced a road infrastructure project aimed at improving access to four residential areas.
The new interchanges are expected to reduce travel time by half for400,000 people. According to the Roads and Transport Authority of the emirate, the project will increase traffic capacity by 50-80%, depending on the direction.

The initiative will cover the following four residential areas:
1. Nadd Hessa: A new two-lane road with traffic lights and highway access will be constructed, enhancing connectivity between Nadd Hessa and other parts of the city, such as Warsan 4, Hessa Gardens, and Dubai Silicon Oasis.
2. Al Awir 1: A 7.5-kilometer road capable of accommodating 3,000 vehicles per hour will connect the area to Emirates Road. It will also simplify routes to Dubai's central districts.
3. Al Barsha South: Roads here will be expanded to four lanes in each direction, increasing capacity to 9,000 vehicles per hour. Additionally, traffic lights will be optimized, reducing waiting times from four minutes to just one.
4. Wadi Al Safa 3: Four kilometers of new roads will link the area to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, shortening a 10-kilometer trip from 10 minutes to just two.
These exits are located along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Emirates Road, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street and Hessa Street.

The entire project is slated for completion within a year, further enhancing the comfort of living in tech-savvy Dubai.
